Young Love..

Remember this post? It was my first real post...and while I created this blog to update my family and friends on Ivy, well the first post was about my baby brother. Well several months have past and the wedding is still a ways off, but Chris and I wanted to do some engagement pictures for them before my brothers deployment which is only days away now....yes I said days. And while it hurts to say he will be gone for only 13 months it feels like 13 years. I can't stand the thought of him being that far away but I am thankful that he is willing to protect our country.

On a happy note...for those of you who don't know Jeanna she is a very lovely person. As Clifford's older protective sibling I would always find "something" wrong with whoever he was dating. Most of the time I kept it to myself so that I wouldn't hurt his feelings because after all "dating" is how we learn the type of person we want to spend the rest of our life with. And try as I might I never could find anything wrong with Jeanna. She is perfect for him, she levels him out and I remember him coming over just a few months after I first met her...we were swinging on my back porch together and he looked at me and said "Hey sis...unless she changes her mind Jeanna's the one." I just looked at him and smiled and said "I know."

Here are a few shots from the day, so enjoy!

This happens to be my favorite and will soon be on my wall. :)

Ahhh, yes it must be true love! My bro borrowed my glasses and obviously Jeanna knows she has a winner.

Go ahead, show me some love....leave me a comment or thought.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. It started out as a blog to keep my family and friends updated on the happenings in the Ward house while Chris and I raise our daughter Ivy, but it's turned into a little more than that for me. So sit back and enjoy because I'll be sharing all kinds of moments and memories from our life and keeping people as updated as I can on my brother Clifford, while he is deployed to Afghanistan.
While my stories may not always be happy, funny, or inspirational they are real. And it's pretty good therapy for me to write how I feel about things. So please excuse all my typos and run on sentences because I usually type like I talk and I don't stress too much over my grammatical errors. I hope everyone enjoys and keeps reading...oh, and leave me a comment, it makes my day!
