I Did It

After years of being on medications for anxiety I have officially quit taking them.

It's been hard. Really hard. In fact it's been terrible.  I'm glad that my husband loves me because I know it has been so hard to live with me these past few years and especially these past few weeks.

I absolutely believe that some people need medication but I also believe that most of the time people are put on them too quickly.  After a few weeks of my body withdrawing from these medications (I did wean off of them correctly) I'm starting to feel normal again.  My muscles aren't as weak and I don't ache as much.

Oh, and I can actually feel all of my emotions now...which is nice.  Being numb sucks.

I've also been using some oils by Young Living that have helped me get through these past few weeks.  I researched them for a long time before I decided to buy any but I highly recommend them.  Check them out here.

Go ahead, show me some love....leave me a comment or thought.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. It started out as a blog to keep my family and friends updated on the happenings in the Ward house while Chris and I raise our daughter Ivy, but it's turned into a little more than that for me. So sit back and enjoy because I'll be sharing all kinds of moments and memories from our life and keeping people as updated as I can on my brother Clifford, while he is deployed to Afghanistan.
While my stories may not always be happy, funny, or inspirational they are real. And it's pretty good therapy for me to write how I feel about things. So please excuse all my typos and run on sentences because I usually type like I talk and I don't stress too much over my grammatical errors. I hope everyone enjoys and keeps reading...oh, and leave me a comment, it makes my day!
