Ivy-isms: Our little secret

Some background for this story...I told Ivy that if she ate a good dinner then she could go to the store with me to pick out a birthday present for Grammie.  Well she didn't eat so she had to stay home with Chris and she pitched a fit.  I hate leaving the house when she is crying like that but I couldn't wait around any longer.  When I got back she was calm and finishing up her bath and then when I'm getting ready to wrap Grammie's present Chris tells me this story.....

Chris:  Hey Ivy I have a cookie here and I'm gonna share it with you, okay?
Ivy:  Okay
Chris:  But listen, you can't tell Mommy because you can't have a cookie if you don't eat a good dinner and you didn't eat good for Mommy.  Did you?
Ivy:  No
Chris:  So you're not going to tell her, right?
Ivy:  It's gonna be our little secret.
Chris:  That's right.
Ivy:  Kinda like Jeanna and Cliff's little secret...
Chris:  What?????
Ivy:  (whispering) They gave me cheese one day when Grammie said No.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. It started out as a blog to keep my family and friends updated on the happenings in the Ward house while Chris and I raise our daughter Ivy, but it's turned into a little more than that for me. So sit back and enjoy because I'll be sharing all kinds of moments and memories from our life and keeping people as updated as I can on my brother Clifford, while he is deployed to Afghanistan.
While my stories may not always be happy, funny, or inspirational they are real. And it's pretty good therapy for me to write how I feel about things. So please excuse all my typos and run on sentences because I usually type like I talk and I don't stress too much over my grammatical errors. I hope everyone enjoys and keeps reading...oh, and leave me a comment, it makes my day!
