Some things I missed on the blog...

...for one reason or another...let's just say we've been busy.

One picture from my 30th birthday.  Obviously I've matured in my old age.

One of my favorite outfits from "Adventures in Ivy dressing herself"

Ivy's favorite owl skirt - made by my friend Brooke.

We went to the beach, but Ivy did not want her picture taken...

...unless of course it was her idea - "Daddy take my picture while I hop down the hall."

It was our first time visiting St. Simon's Island. We will DEFINITELY be going back!

Ivy started a new school year at Open Door Preschool. This is her third year there and we couldn't be happier. Her teacher's name is Ms. Angie...Ivy LOVES her and so do we!

We had a bridal shower for Jeanna. She got lots of great stuff! Oh Yeah...Clifford and Jeanna have been married for a month now...I promise I'll post pictures before 2012.

All summer long we could hear the Ice Cream truck and we would run outside and patiently wait but he would never show up.....and then one day BOOM! he was there. I remember just getting an ice cream sandwich when I was a kid but they had all kinds of stuff to pick from. Ivy looks like a HOT MESS in this picture - Oh Wait, it was 105 degrees and she pulled her hair clips out...so I guess she was a HOT MESS.

Stay tuned for Ivy's birthday, Clifford and Jeanna's wedding, Halloween, some house decorating updates, and DISNEY!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. It started out as a blog to keep my family and friends updated on the happenings in the Ward house while Chris and I raise our daughter Ivy, but it's turned into a little more than that for me. So sit back and enjoy because I'll be sharing all kinds of moments and memories from our life and keeping people as updated as I can on my brother Clifford, while he is deployed to Afghanistan.
While my stories may not always be happy, funny, or inspirational they are real. And it's pretty good therapy for me to write how I feel about things. So please excuse all my typos and run on sentences because I usually type like I talk and I don't stress too much over my grammatical errors. I hope everyone enjoys and keeps reading...oh, and leave me a comment, it makes my day!
