Ivy-isms: Getting to listen to Elton...

Shortly after I posted about Ivy's Obsession it was announced that the one and only Sir Elton John was making a stop in Augusta during his tour.  We recently told her that we were taking her and she flipped out...I'll try and post that video later.  That being said we have listened to even more Elton John than we normally do.

This happened yesterday on the ride home.

Ivy: Mommy who's this playing on the iPod?
Me: It's Neko Case.
Ivy:  Can we listen to Elton John instead?
Me:  Ivy I think I should have a turn with the iPod and I really like Neko Case.
Ivy: I just really like Elton John...
Me: I know...trust me.  But we'll be home soon so I think we are going to listen to Neko today, okay?
Ivy:  (Singing loudly) " I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind, that I put down the words, How Wonderful Life is with Mommy in the world."
Me:   (Smiling) Ok Ivy...you win, we'll listen to Elton.
