Happy Birthday Brigid and riding ponies

A couple of weeks ago we took Ivy to a birthday party for her friend Brigid. Brigid is a such a sweet girl and she goes to school with Ivy. When I saw that the birthday party was at Hilltop Riding stables I got really excited. I use to go to horse camp there every summer and I loved it! I grew up around horses and riding them and I couldn't wait for Ivy to experience it.

All the kids had a really great time running around and playing on the playground with each other and doing all the different crafts.  Below are Ivy's two partners in crime...on the left is Adalyn and on the right is the birthday girl Brigid.

We got to help all the little princess's and prince's make their crowns.  The also got lots of temporary tattoos and stickers and they were in heaven.  And see that cute little boy on the left?  That's Henry from Ivy's class....Henry is the ladies man and I think he has about eight girlfriends.  All the little girls were following him around on the playground calling for him.  It particularly cracked me up when Ivy would call him with her little southern drawl.  Heeennn-errr-rrryyyy.

When it was time to ride the ponies Ivy was excited and I had had butterflies in my stomach with excitement for her.  She sat on that pony like such a big girl.  She kept yelling I'm riding a horse like Jesse!  (Jesse is her favorite character from toy story.)  And she even let out a couple of "Yee-Haw's!"  And she was instructing the workers on where to put everyone else.  So as you can guess she was riding with Adalyn, Brigid, and Heeeennn-eeerrrr-rrrryyy.

She looked like such a big girl up on that pony.

And she was so proud and loved on him.

And then there was cake after we sang and the sweet birthday girl blew her candles out.

Brigid enjoyed her cake very much and so did all the other kids too.

Go ahead, show me some love....leave me a comment or thought.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. It started out as a blog to keep my family and friends updated on the happenings in the Ward house while Chris and I raise our daughter Ivy, but it's turned into a little more than that for me. So sit back and enjoy because I'll be sharing all kinds of moments and memories from our life and keeping people as updated as I can on my brother Clifford, while he is deployed to Afghanistan.
While my stories may not always be happy, funny, or inspirational they are real. And it's pretty good therapy for me to write how I feel about things. So please excuse all my typos and run on sentences because I usually type like I talk and I don't stress too much over my grammatical errors. I hope everyone enjoys and keeps reading...oh, and leave me a comment, it makes my day!
