Friday Flashback....prune face

When Ivy was about 6 months old, she had been eating baby food for a few months and I had decided to try her on some of the fruits.  She had done well with most of them....apples, pears, etc. and then we got to prunes.  I honestly didn't think she would care for them but boy was I wrong!  She couldn't get enough of them and I couldn't get them on the spoon fast enough for her.  She was just at the stage where she was really reaching for stuff that she wanted and every time she would see the spoon coming she would reach out and grab and slap it.  She made the biggest mess but I couldn't quit laughing!  It's one of my favorite memories just sitting in front of that highchair with her grabbing that spoon and pulling it towards her mouth!  She made a huge mess and she was quite proud of herself!
