My daughter eats more than me....

Seriously! I got up this morning and cooked Ivy breakfast before our trip to Greenwood for the day. I scrambled her 1 egg and gave her a piece of toast with some strawberry spread on top. She was very impatient while I was cooking the egg so I sliced her 3 small pieces of cheddar and gave her a cup of milk. Before I could get the egg cool enough for her to eat she was in front of her highchair trying to climb up into eat and yelling "EAT MOMMY! EAT!" I finally got the egg cool enough and she starts shoveling it in her mouth like she hasn't eaten in days. When she finished I gave her the toast, half way through her piece of toast she looks at me and says "Mommy! I want grits!" To which I replied "Finish your toast honey." So she said it again louder. I made her a packet of instant grits thinking I would have to throw them away, but.....she ate the whole bowl!!!!!

I'm impressed! I ate a piece of toast and had a glass of milk and thought I was gonna pop!

She's a growing girl! Some days Addison eats a lot and most days she doesn't, but I don't think she has ever eaten more than me...yet. Glad yall had fun in Greenwood, hate we missed you. Can't wait to see everyone at the reunion!

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. It started out as a blog to keep my family and friends updated on the happenings in the Ward house while Chris and I raise our daughter Ivy, but it's turned into a little more than that for me. So sit back and enjoy because I'll be sharing all kinds of moments and memories from our life and keeping people as updated as I can on my brother Clifford, while he is deployed to Afghanistan.
While my stories may not always be happy, funny, or inspirational they are real. And it's pretty good therapy for me to write how I feel about things. So please excuse all my typos and run on sentences because I usually type like I talk and I don't stress too much over my grammatical errors. I hope everyone enjoys and keeps reading...oh, and leave me a comment, it makes my day!
