Friday Flashback....Bath time fun

So I'm barely gonna make it this week...whew!

And I missed last Friday...tisk,tisk! But in all fairness we had our first parent/teacher conference for Ivy at 8am and we were basically told that Ivy is a genius...but really who didn't already know. Then we drove 5 hours to N.C., had a picnic in Jeffress Park and hiked at the Cascades, then went to Jamie and Heather's house and had a dance party with Ivy and Charlie until about 10pm....way past their bedtime (and ours). So the Friday flashback was well...put on the back burner.

I tried really hard to get Ivy's birth story done in time for the Friday Flashback or in the case of last week a Saturday flashback but it just didn't happen...and for those of you who think I may have been drunk while I wrote that I wasn't...and I swear I rewrote and proofed it 1000 time but I went back and fixed all my typos so read again if you like (and it might make sense this time).

So this week is some pictures from bath time in January 2009. You know when Ivy actually liked to take a bath and didn't give me any trouble or pitch a fit when I washed her hair. I remember the night well...I started running her bath water and then walked downstairs for some water and when I came back up she was trying to get in the tub with her clothes on and she actually succeeded. As I got back to the top of the steps instead of seeing Ivy in her room playing I saw legs with corduroy pants going over the side of the tub. I freaked at first but then laughed because she had this look on her face like she had just learned something new but thought she might get in trouble.

But she was very cute in the tub as always.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. It started out as a blog to keep my family and friends updated on the happenings in the Ward house while Chris and I raise our daughter Ivy, but it's turned into a little more than that for me. So sit back and enjoy because I'll be sharing all kinds of moments and memories from our life and keeping people as updated as I can on my brother Clifford, while he is deployed to Afghanistan.
While my stories may not always be happy, funny, or inspirational they are real. And it's pretty good therapy for me to write how I feel about things. So please excuse all my typos and run on sentences because I usually type like I talk and I don't stress too much over my grammatical errors. I hope everyone enjoys and keeps reading...oh, and leave me a comment, it makes my day!
