Ivy
...oh how Ivy loved this!
I've wanted to do this for a while now but I was to timid I guess because Ivy is such a wiggle worm and I just knew I would have nail polish all over the tile, cabinets, carpet and anywhere else she found to wipe it. But I decided it was time. Besides, she has turned into such a girly girl lately that figured she at least has to have painted toe nails in the summer!
It went pretty good. She sat ever so patiently and watched me paint my nail and kept asking if it was Ivy's turn. Occasionally she would reach out and grab the nail brush so my toes look a little messy. But you can tell in the pictures that she is studying really hard on how to do it...don't worry, it's out of reach so she won't be able to give us any surprises by trying to do it herself anytime soon!

Watching very intensely while Mommy is doing her toes.

Ivy is so proud of her toes. She keeps saying "Mommy we got pretty toes!" And it's the first thing she shows people. If we are in the store now and she sees nail polish she goes and sits down in front of it and says "Ivy do it" and starts taking off her shoes. I have to explain that we only paint our toes at home and she gives me a very sad "OK Mommy"

So sweet Marti! I love the first picture of you painting Ivy's toes. Looks like she did great... and might be wanting regular pedicures from now on!
