Old and New

First the old...we said goodbye to our 1st house on Monday. We officially closed and we officially only own 1 house! Hooray. We went to the closing and met the buyers who are relocating from Illinois...needless to say they are in a bit of a culture shock with the heat. We've actually broken some records the past few days with 100+ degrees daily. But it's over, no more going in the house to make sure it's presentable for people to look at no more yard work over there, etc. I will miss it because I love it so much. Here are the last pictures we took before moving out.

Now onto the new house. We love it and think it is beautiful! It's not fully decorating and parts of it are a little disorganized but I decided to have Chris take some pictures so that people could see them and quit threatening me. :) So here you go...I will post more of each room once they are finished.

Front of our house, obviously on a cloudy day.

Go ahead, show me some love....leave me a comment or thought.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. It started out as a blog to keep my family and friends updated on the happenings in the Ward house while Chris and I raise our daughter Ivy, but it's turned into a little more than that for me. So sit back and enjoy because I'll be sharing all kinds of moments and memories from our life and keeping people as updated as I can on my brother Clifford, while he is deployed to Afghanistan.
While my stories may not always be happy, funny, or inspirational they are real. And it's pretty good therapy for me to write how I feel about things. So please excuse all my typos and run on sentences because I usually type like I talk and I don't stress too much over my grammatical errors. I hope everyone enjoys and keeps reading...oh, and leave me a comment, it makes my day!
