First Trip to the Dentist.

I have to admit I thought this was going to be a disaster. It is a battle every night for me to get her to brush her teeth. But she did great! No actually teeth cleaning yet, that is scheduled for October when I get mine done so we'll see how that goes. I only took her because of the chipped tooth. I thought it was fine but I figured better safe than sorry. And yes the dentist that I go too has an office that looks like it's from the 70's and my guess it that's probably because the practice was opened in the 60's or 70's. It's a really fun office though and Dr. Durst has been my dentist since I've had teeth so he'll be taking care of Ivy's too. His Dad (also Dr. Durst) was the one that did my Mom and Grandma's so I guess you could say it's a family tradition. Check them out I think they are great!

Ivygirl playing in the waiting room.
She crawled right up in that chair and was excited about it!

Hygienist: Can I see your teeth Ivy? Ivy: CHEESE!
Hygienist: But I need you to open wide Ivy... Ivy: OK
All done!
Hygienist: OK Ivy, now Dr. Durst is gonna come check your tooth. Ivy: Toof docor yay!
Playing with a fish while she was waiting on Dr. Durst. She even shook his hand.

Dr. Durst: OK Ivy, I'm gonna put a mirror in your mouth. Ivy: OK, Ahhhhhhh

Getting to pick her treasure

Showing Ms. Kellie what she picked out
Kellie: Oh no girlfriend you're leavin' here with a real toy. Ivy: Oooooooo
Ms. Kellie showing her how to use a water gun....I'm not so thankful for this every night during Ivy's bath!

Oh, your family is so beautiful. And isn't it great how writing down the beautiful moments of your life makes you realize just how many more great ones there are? It's so great for perspective. So many things to be happy for. Thanks for sharing your blog!

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. It started out as a blog to keep my family and friends updated on the happenings in the Ward house while Chris and I raise our daughter Ivy, but it's turned into a little more than that for me. So sit back and enjoy because I'll be sharing all kinds of moments and memories from our life and keeping people as updated as I can on my brother Clifford, while he is deployed to Afghanistan.
While my stories may not always be happy, funny, or inspirational they are real. And it's pretty good therapy for me to write how I feel about things. So please excuse all my typos and run on sentences because I usually type like I talk and I don't stress too much over my grammatical errors. I hope everyone enjoys and keeps reading...oh, and leave me a comment, it makes my day!
