My Baby Daddy...

Chris,
father's day,
Ivy,
My hubby
...he's the best hubby and daddy. And he works his butt off to make sure me and Ivy have everything we could ever want!
On Saturday my baby Daddy and his little girl had a wrestlin' match on the couch first thing.

Then we took Ivy to see Toy Story 3. Chris was so excited to take Ivy to her first movie. Not to mention she is obsessed with Toy Story 1 & 2. And Jesse and Woody are her favorite toys so they went to the movie with us. She was so excited!

After the movie we went to the Fresh Market to pick out some things for a Father's Day dinner. This place is the coolest grocery store! We love it and Ivy loves it and it's always and interesting family outing. Well, after the movie and a trip to the Fresh Market Ivy was tired. Now everyone know that Ivy loves her thumb, but earlier that day she thought it would be a great idea to try and be like Mommy and grab my flat iron while I was doing my hair, I couldn't move fast enough....and you guessed it she burned her thumb. Now no matter what I did to make her feel better all she wanted was a "ding ding" (that's what she calls band aids). So I finally gave in even though you shouldn't cover burns and her Toy Story "ding ding" (of course) made everything all better. However, trying to take a nap on the way home was difficult since it was "the thumb" She tried every other finger she had but none of them were quite right.

It was a simple Father's day because he wanted to watch the U.S. Open (because this Daddy loves his golf) so we made sure we were home for that. It started out at Cracker Barrel, just the two of us for a quick breakfast before going grocery shopping and of course with out fail we got a totally crazy waiter because that's how we roll....normal waiter, not us! Then we went to the pool with Ivy for a little while which wore her out and she got a good nap. Then we grilled some steaks, baked some potatoes, and had a wonderful dessert.

My handsome little Pollack even got in on the backyard grillin'. But of course he was only interested in running around like a wild man.
Ivy's out door patio set is one of her favorite things but she loves to make that umbrella fall on her head!
Ivy doesn't appreciate the finer things in life quite yet so instead of a yummy rib eye steak she decided she wanted a cheese covered hot dog. And look at my big girl drinking out of her big girl cup! Why do kids grow so fast!
Mmmmmm. Peanut butter, caramel, and chocolate...I don't know the official name of it but I'll call it "the good stuff!"

It was a happy day!
